Did you know that up to 80% of adults have stretch marks or scars?

Although several treatments are available on the market to help reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars, such as laser and needle treatments, these procedures do little to address the texture of stretch marks and scars. I specialize in covering stretch marks and scars using inkless serums, pigments, or both, depending on the type of scar.

About me

Now you see them...now you don't!

My name is Marilyn Costache and I have a background in hospital administration, healthcare risk management, quality assurance, and safety. I started doing permanent makeup in 2022, starting with eyebrows and transitioning into paramedical tattoo services, including working on covering stretch marks and scars. I've trained with some of the top trainers in the paramedical industry including Ink Boutique, Coverup by Jenny, The Beauty Plug, Nue Conceal and Jody Stoski Paramedical Academy. My passion is driven by the ultimate goal of helping individuals feel confident in their skin and being a part of their healing journey. I use the most innovative and restorative treatments to correct skin tone, stretch marks, scars, and discoloration. Paramedical tattoo is not just another cosmetic procedure; it means different things to different people, but in the center of its core, it signifies healing and restores confidence. Camouflage tattooing for scars and stretch marks helps restore self-assurance, especially after surgeries, accidents, self-inflicting injuries, or any other life-altering event.

Services

Inkless Scar and Stretch Mark Revision

During a Paramedical Tattoo Procedure for stretch marks or scar revision, I strategically induce micro-injuries in the skin to activate the fibroblast cells. This, in turn, triggers a heightened production of collagen and elastin in the targeted area, facilitating the restoration of the skin’s texture. In the case of camouflage tattooing, the aim is to rectify the coloration by skillfully applying pigments into the dermis layer of the skin.

Scar and Stretch Mark Camouflage

In the case of camouflage tattooing, the aim is to rectify the coloration by skillfully applying pigments into the dermis layer of the skin. I use an innovative solution called Nue Conceal; a skin tone correction treatment done through a tattooing procedure. The revolutionary device of Nue Conceal allows the exact reading of the skin color. The information is sent to the Nue application, giving me precise shade suggestions for my clients. This will allow an exact application of the same skin color. The most innovative and restorative treatment for the correction of skin tone, stretch marks, scars, and skin discoloration. Nue Conceal pigments are one of the very few, if not the only, CE certified skin tone tattoo inks on the market, ensuring they are safe to use. I use these special pigments to camouflage light, dark and bi-color scars.

Dark Scar Camouflage

Camouflaging dark scars is not something that can be done by just any Paramedical Tattoo Artist, as it requires special training and pigments. I've trained with Nue Conceal's Master Trainers and Jody Stoski Paramedical Tattoo Academy to be able to provide the most innovative treatments.

3D Areola (Coming Soon)

A 3D Areola Tattoo is a type of Paramedical Tattoo that uses shadows and highlights to create the optical illusion of protrusion to the nipple mound. There are other touches that are added to the tattoo, such as montgomery glands and wrinkles that mimic constriction of the nipple and enhance the realistic effects of the tattoo.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Paramedical Tattoo?

A tattooing procedure used for medical purposes, i.e., cover or even out skin tone in scars and stretch marks, create a hairline or eyebrows, design an areola, etc. This kind of tattooing inserts pigments into the skin to draw on missing parts of the body. Many of the clients who undergo a paramedical tattoo have either undergone a medical procedure, encountered a significant medical injury, or experienced weight gain or weight loss.

Is Paramedical tattoo a cosmetic procedure?

Paramedical tattoos are not just another cosmetic procedure; they mean different things to different people. In the center of their core, they signify healing and restore confidence.

What is used during a paramedical tattoo when working on the skin camouflaging scars and stretch marks or creating 3D areolas?

I use my tattoo machine and inkless serums, which help restore collagen, elastin, and melanin in the skin. I also use pigments that help with discoloration. Some of my top-of-the-line products include Nue Conceal inkless serums and pigments and the innovative skin reader, which is a device that reads the color of your skin to match it with the perfect pigment colors. I also use other tools and equipment to ensure there is an optimal clean and sanitized environment.

How does ink age over time, and does it fade?

The discoloration concerns associated with camouflage tattoos of the past were related to low-quality inks, inks made with titanium dioxide, and/or inks that are mixed/exposed to other chemicals over time. As long as you are avoiding exposing the tattoo to lightening products or acne treatments there should be very little fading or discoloration over time.

Which skin types are Nue Conceal products suitable for?

All Nue products are developed in partnership with dermatologists and chemists. They are formulated and suitable for all skin types. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page and for any concerns, we recommend conducting a patch test or sharing our ingredient list with your healthcare provider before usage.

Are Nue Conceal products safe to use?

Nue Conceal carries the finest medical-grade permanent makeup products on the market. These products are FDA compliant and CE certified, therefore made to deliver exceptional results.

Are Nue Conceal products vegan or cruelty-free?

Yes. All Nue products are vegan and cruelty-free.

Are Nue Conceal products available without fragrance?

Yes, all Nue Conceal products are available without fragrance.

Can I undergo any of the inkless or camouflage treatments if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

No, while the Nue Conceal formula does not contain any known ingredients that are considered unsafe, it is not recommended to use any of the products on breastfeeding or pregnant women.

Will any of the Nue Conceal products give me an allergic reaction?

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that you will not have an allergic reaction as all of the Nue Conceal products are produced in an environment where cross-contamination is possible, albeit unlikely. Nue Conceal products do not contain any gluten, nut oils, or butter. If you have concerns about allergies, please refer to the ingredient lists in the product descriptions, discuss them with your physician, and always perform a patch test on hidden skin first.

Can I undergo any inkless or camouflage procedure if I am taking Accutane?

It is recommended to wait 1 year after you have stopped taking Accutane to perform a paramedical tattoo procedure.

Are there any pre and post care instructions that need to be followed?

Yes, please refer to my pre and post care instructions for important information on how to prepare and best care for your skin before and after your treatment.
